Thanksgiving

Had a nice trade in PSS this morning which made my day. I was long 600 shares at 30.66. I got out of 400 shares at 31.50. A 100 at 31.25 and 100 at 31.10. I was up around $600 at my peak but after a bit of churning I am left with $495. I am going to call it a day and take the rest of the week off to enjoy Thanksgiving.

One stock that I missed was JCG. It offered a nice dummy entry on the 15 minute chart.

About Me

I have been trading for 5 years. It took close to a year before I became profitable. I find that I am improving gradually each year. My method of choice is scalping. My edge lies in tape reading NYSE stocks and staying on the side of the specialist. That is the method I learned when I started. As I build up my capital I will try new styles and trade new markets. In late 2006 my trading hit a rough patch after the introduction of the NYSE Hybrid system. For most of 2007, I have been on a search for new strategies that would help me adapt to the market.
