Very light trading today



I only made a few trades with 100 share positions. My Esignal crashed at around 10:30. It is not the first time it crashed. I have been having this problem a few times day for over a year. This time I was not able to get it to start up again. I removed my version 7.9 and installed the newest version 8.0 on my computer. When I tried to start, it says my user name and password is wrong. I got to call them up next week and find out why I cannot log on. I am down for the week but it feels good to make some money on a Friday. It brightens up my weekend. I made 63 bucks today.

I have been trading for 5 years. It took close to a year before I became profitable. I find that I am improving gradually each year. My method of choice is scalping. My edge lies in tape reading NYSE stocks and staying on the side of the specialist. That is the method I learned when I started. As I build up my capital I will try new styles and trade new markets. In late 2006 my trading hit a rough patch after the introduction of the NYSE Hybrid system. For most of 2007, I have been on a search for new strategies that would help me adapt to the market.
