Daily Summary

By noon I was down around $250. My trigger happy fingers led me down the wrong path again. I was about to shut down for the day because it was saddening to see my lack of discipline. I took two more shots and pulled off another recovery. At around 12:30 I bought 200 LVS at 112.27. Sold 100 at 113 and 100 at 113.20 when it had a quick pop. I also took 200 MR at 39.50 and was out at 39.89. Those trades helped me recover most of my losses. Around 3:00 I took a long in GYI and that trade gave me what I made today.

About Me

I have been trading for 5 years. It took close to a year before I became profitable. I find that I am improving gradually each year. My method of choice is scalping. My edge lies in tape reading NYSE stocks and staying on the side of the specialist. That is the method I learned when I started. As I build up my capital I will try new styles and trade new markets. In late 2006 my trading hit a rough patch after the introduction of the NYSE Hybrid system. For most of 2007, I have been on a search for new strategies that would help me adapt to the market.
