Proprietary trading firms are getting into blogging

I have been reading Keystone Trading Group's blog for awhile now and they share some good trading insights.

Today I just found SMB Capital's blog and I spent some time going through their posts. Yes they are the same guys from Wall Street Warriors Season 2. They got some good posts there dealing with trading styles, psychology, and trading day summaries.

This post got me doing a little reflection about my own trading. The post is about the work ethic and ambitions of 2 new traders in their group. The time I spend on daily research and trade review pales in comparison to those guys at SMB. I need to boost up my efforts.

Found this one through Dr. Brett's blog. Here's a new blog by Trading RM, a Chicago prop firm.

Anyone reading blogs by other prop firms?

About Me

I have been trading for 5 years. It took close to a year before I became profitable. I find that I am improving gradually each year. My method of choice is scalping. My edge lies in tape reading NYSE stocks and staying on the side of the specialist. That is the method I learned when I started. As I build up my capital I will try new styles and trade new markets. In late 2006 my trading hit a rough patch after the introduction of the NYSE Hybrid system. For most of 2007, I have been on a search for new strategies that would help me adapt to the market.
